Nutri-Mastic™ and Probiotics (All of our products contain Nutri-Mastic™)
The normal gastrointestinal tract contains the most toxic environment to which most people are ever exposed. From the mouth to the anus, every centimeter is colonized by bacteria, with the colon bearing the greatest load. Scavenge ammonia (toxicity) that has not been incorporated into urea makes it impossible for probiotics to reach its desired area (the colon). People on the autistic spectrum generally do not colonize intestinal flora easily, and their digestive systems tends to fall out of balance very easily. Nutri-Mastic™ lessens scavenge ammonia, which is critically important for digestive health, to help grow probiotics in the intestines.

Acid Reflux / Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
Regurgitation may happen if you bend over or lay down immediately after eating. It may happen if you eat too quickly, don’t chew your food, eat foods too hot or too cold, or have continued to eat foods that you don’t digest very well. Some pharmaceuticals have the side effect of digestive disruption. The symptoms may range from a non-productive cough, burning sensation, and burping. Reducing inflammation and establishing correct digestive system chemistry can bring immediate relief and long term health benefits.

Occasional Constipation
A common problem among all ages, the solutions are very often simple dietary changes and natural support to the digestive tract. Seniors, those with a high intake of “junk” foods, those taking poor quality, or too much iron or calcium, users of painkillers or anti-depressant drugs may all experience occasional constipation as a side-effect. Thyroid disruption and pregnancy can contribute to occasional constipation. Increasing fluid intake, using high fiber vegetables, enhancing muscle function with mineral replacement and supporting correct digestive system function all help to overcome this common problem.

Dairy Indigestion
So many have diagnosed themselves without any confirmation or testing for “lactose intolerance”. There are many aspects of dairy products that may contribute to digestive disturbances. Lactose requires the enzyme lactase to break down properly. There are other components of dairy which some may not digest properly, but of great importance are the other toxic elements found in commercial dairy products – antibiotics and pesticides. These other elements may create digestive upset and properly supporting your digestive system assists in elimination of these digestion disruptors.

Heartburn
So many rely on antacid products to overcome the uncomfortable feelings of heartburn. A burning, stinging sensation is the result of poor food choices, use of certain drugs, overeating, junk foods, or sugary foods. A digestive system that is properly maintained and supported with minerals, sufficient hydration, beneficial food choices and enzymes will very rarely experience heartburn.

Loose Bowel Movements
As constipation is occasional in the population, loose bowel movements can be an unpleasant interruption. Sometimes accompanied by cramping and urgency, loose movements over time can lead to deficiencies of nutrients and dehydration. Inflammation as a result of extended bouts of loose movements can lead to more serious health issues. Beneficial bacteria (probiotics), properly prepared cooked foods, soups and organic yogurt are helpful. Supplemental nutrients are recommended to establish digestive system function.

Muscle Cramping
The muscles require energy to function properly – along with the correct balance of certain minerals, mainly magnesium and calcium. Reduced availability of minerals and trace minerals can lead to spasms in all areas of the body, including the muscles of the digestive tract. The spasms respond well to magnesium. Pain, tension, anxiety, headaches are just a few of the issues that may develop when there is a nutrient deficiency due to poor absorption of beneficial minerals.

Stomach Cramping
Deficiency of digestive acids and enzymes, beginning in the mouth, eating too fast, and insufficient chewing resulting in delivery of poorly broken down foods to the stomach and thus put undue stress on the stomach and esophagus. Lack of the proper chemistry for digestion and the proper mineral nutrients for contraction and relaxation of the stomach muscles, leads to spasms. Supplements for digestive support and magnesium are helpful in overcoming painful stomach spasms.

Fatigue
Overuse of caffeine, sugar, drugs, insufficient or non-restful sleep as well as nutritional deficiencies can all contribute to fatigue. Adrenal and thyroid imbalances and exposure to toxic substances are areas of concern as well. Nutritional deficiencies may develop when nutrients in foods and supplements are poorly metabolized. Chewing, good dietary choices of both raw and cooked foods and correct supplements all support correct delivery of nutrients. Minimize exposure to toxins in “junk” foods, those contaminated with pesticide residues, preservatives and artificial colors. Supply your digestive system with beneficial bacteria, digestive enzymes, and minerals and trace minerals to enhance the energy systems of the body.

Bloating
Reestablish correct digestive system chemistry and minimize the uncomfortable episodes of hard, swollen, distended abdomen. Bloating occurs when digestive acids, enzymes, prebiotics and probiotics are out of proper ratio or missing completely. Using fermented foods, avoiding sugar and artificial sweeteners, avoiding packaged or processed foods and using digestive system supports such as trace minerals, herbals for digestion such a mastic gum, and probiotics such as bifidum and acidophilus.
